This is the wicker tea stand in my room.
My jewelry box is a brass incense smoker from the 20's. Got it at an antiques show for $3 in North Carolina. Was practically black and green before I cleaned it. Holds my passport and necklaces now. LOVE it.
These two bottles of wine are probably vinegar now. One is from my travels in Italy a few years back.
The other is one of the bottles from my college graduation party.
That's Gladys the duck.
And yes, that's a martini glass holding my earrings.

Easter.
The worst cake I've ever decorated... Tacky jelly beans. Weird, depressing Peep. At least it tasted good.
Followed by some screwed up tie-dyed eggs...
happy easter. Sigh.

500 Miles on a bike + Raising money for Cancer research
As most of you know, I don't just sit back and do nothing. Never. I'm thinking about riding my bike 500 miles and raising money for Cancer research here in New England. There have been so many people affected by different forms of cancer in my life- and I'm sure there are for many other people as well. I guess the big thing is that I want to do something about it.
I'm thinking of starting a new blog, tracking my cycling and making updates about everything going on. I'm not in the shape I used to be so it will be a little bit of a challenge. Hopefully people will donate.
Still planning some things out, but there will be news soon.

WHIRLY BALL
Whirly ball is playing lacross, with basketball styled backboards, all in bumper cars. I think it's a southern thing? Anyways, I would like there to be a whirly ball place in Maine. This is a picture from my friend's birthday last year. I found this picture in my photo folder labeled: Dixieland.

Found this floating around on Facebook:
This morning I was awoken by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the US Department of Energy. I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the municipal water utility. After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC regulated channels to see what the National Weather Service of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration determined the weather was going to be like using satellites designed, built, and launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. I watched this while eating breakfast of US Department of Agriculture inspected food and taking the drugs which have been determined as safe by the Food and Drug Administration.
At the appropriate time as regulated by the US Congress and kept accurate by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the US Naval Observatory. I get into my National Highway Traffic Safety Administration approved automobile and set out to work on the roads built by the local, state, and federal departments of transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level determined by the Environmental Protection Agency, using legal tender issued by the Federal Reserve bank. On the way out the door I deposit any mail I have to send via the US Postal Service and drop the kids off at the public school.
After work, I drive my NHTSA car back home on the DOT roads, to a house which has not burned down in my absence because of the state and local building codes and fire marshal's inspection, and which has not been plundered of all it's valuables thanks to the local police department.
I then log on to the internet which was developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Administration and post on freerepublic.com and Fox News forums about how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD because the government can't do anything right.

When I was 17, the only thing that could make me smile was an Ok Go song... I'm 25 and this remains true.

Amazing. Happy Valentines Day from Puma... and soccer fans.
Sure, let's get a bunch of rough and tumble boys to sing sappy Savage Garden songs. Sure, let's put them in a bar. Irish accents? Check. Tattoos? Of course. Simply awesome? YES.

E*TRADE Baby Outtakes... "It's Denise."
Usually I'm kind of tired of the over-done babies/animals/old people advertising... but the "outtakes" are pretty funny.
