Coraline Website has some pretty cool Features.

The film, Coraline, is coming out soon and the website has this feature where you can make your own flower. Directed by the same guy who did Nightmare Before Christmas. Either will be great or will be totally a flop.

Doodle A Day Blog

this girl draws a doodle a day. And posts it.

Wicked cool photography.

So this Photographer, Simon Hoegsberg, shot pictures of people crossing a bridge in Berlin for twenty days and then collaged it all together into a 100 meter piece. Awesome. I wish some of the people had little thought bubbles like, "did I remember to shut off the stove?" and "Hmm, maybe I need a doctor's appointment for that."

Check out Simon Hoegsberg's piece, We're All Gonna Die.

I used to make Christmas Ornaments, Now I make fake ads.

This was made almost twenty years ago in Mrs. Erb's kindegarten class. Someone asked me the other day when I knew that I was going to go into a creative field. I had to think about it, then go a little further back... And then I remembered.
June of 1988, I graduated from Pre-School. While sitting next to virtually all of the kids I would later graduate from High School with, I was awarded the "Best Future Artist" award for my painting of Jack jumping over the Moon. The moon was green and Jack was a yellow cow instead.
I have an excellent memory for random stuff. I can remember that I ate Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast at Disney World when I was seven, but forget where I left my keys.

Blog of the Day

Gluttony Is Bliss.

Um... awesome blog. And on that note, I'm going to the gym.

Some people like this campaign, some people don't. I like it, but then again, I've always wanted a dalmation.

The Office Ad Campaign: Tag: Good Humor, Bad form.

The Office Ad Campaign (click each ad to make it larger if necessary)
Copywriters: Meghan Levesque and Caroline Smith
Tag: Good Humor, Bad Form.

I was so happy I got the chance to work on this campaign and especially since it is targeted towards the fans, so essentially me. Each writing utensil has the name of the associated character written on it. For instance, the intensely sharpened pencil with perfectly aligned paperclips is Angela. For those who watch the show, you totally get it and all the inside jokes. And it builds an even bigger cult/fan base. We even have Christmas versions of these ads, possibly coming soon.

So if you watch the whole Dwangela love triangle every week, hopefully this is your kind of ad campaign?

P.S. Thank you Santa for the Season 3 AND Season 4 dvds. Best present this year other than your promise of world peace.

My Shark Week Ad: UPDATE!

Don't want to jinx it but just found out I might be getting something special for the video soon? Or might just be getting a "good try." Whatever the case, it was my favorite thing to do at the Circus so far. Click her to watch the Shark Week Animation!

More Magic Eraser: Where have all the Marks gone?

Magazine Spread> When opened, you see that the Mark of Maker's Mark has been MAGICALLY erased. Thanks Mr. Clean. Do you think he lost all of his hair from sniffing too much bleach?
Tag: Stronger than Bourbon.

BBDO in New York came out with this awesome advertising idea- plug your headphones into a jack by each person and hear their "secret." This season on Big Love on HBO is all about secrets so very cool. Check out this article to see more.

Photo(grapher)? Ayudame.

So I've never entered photos into the student show, partly because I'm not technically a photographer and also in part that I'm pretty sure I'm just pointing and clicking. Anyways, I've got a few photos that I'm trying to figure out if they should go in the show. And since it's my last student show, I figured that I might as well. Of course, most of these photos are from Maine.
